My Rushmore MBA
(start: 25 february 2003; end: 26 march 2003) Well, it is embarrasing to admit, but I
dropped out. I failed the purpose of my first negotiation course, which was to secure a
50% reduction in the fee to Rushmore. After reading three books about negotiation, I had a
fine negotiation strategy worked out, but it was impossible to get in contact with the two
people authorized to make a fee reduction, so I didn't even get a chance to negotiate.
What a disapointment! I just ended up being very annoyed with the Rushmore administration,
their extremely slow response time, and the lack of people in charge. I still like the
basic idea behind the university, though.
